Good Friday

Friday the 13th was the date today, but luckily it brought no bad luck. First I feed the 360° panoramic pictures into the net and then went inline-skating in Port de Pollenca with music in my ears. I was pretty hungry afterwards...

The Good Friday's procession in Pollenca leads down over 365 steps from the chapel to the church. There's one step for each day and there were certainly as many participants in colourful garments. The pointed hats have nothing in common with clans or sects, but have a long tradition in the Good Friday's procession in Spain.

The lights lining the steps filled with hundreds of spectators - this can hardly be put into words. The silence of the people along the way contributed to the awsome atmosphere. Just impressive!
