The day after uncle

No no, there is no fault in the title. Yesterday evening it finally happened. Congratulations and all the best to Eva & Eugen and the newborn Samuel. How you become an uncle? Just wait for your brother's message! ;-)

The waves of life also reached Port de Valldemossa. Just fantastic to watch the breakers, how wave after wave builds up, rolls higher, tumbles over, hits the beach, transfigures to foam and disappears...lovely.

I really like those old olive trees. The knotty trunks adorn wide parts of the countryside. In the low afternoon light the contours of the wood look sharper. Those old trees have a relaxing effect, somehow.

Sa Calobra was the highlight of an impressive day. The curvy street down to the little village was great fun and the ideal twilight was a pleasure to me. At the Torrent de Pareis, a narrow ravine going towards the sea, without any tourists, the day ended in many colours.
